Help Bella

Bella’s story is a sad one. She was found living alone in an apartment after both of her people passed away. The building superintendent would go in daily to feed and clean up after her, but poor Bella cried all the time. To make matters worse, Bella showed serious neurological issues – a wobbly walk, and she’d occasionally tip over. Due to both her condition, and her people being sick, Bella had gained a considerable amount of weight and hadn’t been outside in months.

The best way to describe how Bella walks is this …think of an animal who you have seen trapped on an icy pond. All four of her legs are constantly splayed and Bella’s entire body shakes. And to make matters worse, she was completely heartbroken, confused and afraid when we met her. But the next day, her new life began.

Bella is now in a loving foster home and is getting the attention that she’s needed for so long. She has gotten to enjoy some days at the beach, time outside and best of all, the love and companionship of her foster family.

Bella cannot run or walk for very long before having to rest. Our vet recommends that she sees a specialist and get an expensive MRI in order to diagnose her neurological problems.

Now Bella needs your help. Please contribute to her medical fund so that we can can take the next step to restoring her to the best of health.
