Blind Senior Saved

The life in front of you is more important than the life behind you

We have a special place in our “Hharts” for the seniors, and those of our animal friends who would be considered as special-needs.

Meet Joey, (formerly Snowy) who recently arrived in his foster home after being pulled from AHS-Newark Branch. We had seen a post about this beautiful old boy, and just couldn’t imagine him spending another night in a shelter.

Thanks to the compassionate heart of our friend Jacqueline, who agreed to foster Joey, and to our dear friend Pam who tirelessly advocates for the dogs and cats of Newark, Joey has a whole new life ahead of him.

Joey is blind. ..and requires a special home where he will receive the love, patience and understanding that he deserves.

This precious senior is now settled in the loving arms of his foster mom, and although he cannot see, we are sure he feels the love that surrounds him.
