Pops is yet another cat who was left behind when his family moved. All alone, he joined up with a local colony living in a nearby vacant house. Pops was surviving until the new owner wanted him out. We answered an urgent call from our friends at East Orange Animal Alliance and agreed to take Pops in, sight unseen…but it wasn’t as easy as it sounded. Pops hadn’t been seen for days, and we worried that the worst had happened.
Then we got a text…Pops was caught and safe! We didn’t expect him late that night, but we welcomed him with open arms. 
We have had the absolute pleasure of this incredibly amazing boy ever since. You know how you’ll hear so many people say that their cat is the best cat EVER?? Well, we meet a lot of cats, and we can say, with confidence, that our Pops is THE BEST CAT EVER.
To say that Pops is affectionate is an understatement. This beautiful boy craves affection and just radiates love. Everyone who meets him adores him, and he feels the same about them ( he gives hugs and kisses!) Pops is a friend to everyone, both animal and human, and will follow us around the house, “speaking” and purring all the way. 
To be quite honest, we love Pops so much that if we could, we would make him our “mascat” but we have other cats who aren’t safe who need his spot, and a cat so completely wonderful should be shared.
Pops is ready for his forever home. If you’re looking for the greatest cat ever. ..stop your search. He’s right here, waiting with a hug, a kiss, and maybe a jump onto your shoulder for some more love.
